The Tripartite Congress is renamed to
Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Conference &
Hong Kong Primary Care Conference 2019

Due to the unforeseen circumstances in Hong Kong, representatives from the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AMM) and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (AMS) have made the difficult decision of not coming to Hong Kong for the Tripartite Congress. Therefore, we have made some necessary changes to the programmes and to rename the Congress as HONG KONG ACADEMY OF MEDICINE CONFERENCE & HONG KONG PRIMARY CARE CONFERENCE 2019 ("The Conference"), co-organised by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (HKAM) and the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians (HKCFP).

The theme, dates and venue of the Conference remain unchanged, i.e. "People-centred Care: Towards Value-Based Innovations", 6 - 8 December 2019 (Friday - Sunday) at the HKAM Jockey Club Building, Aberdeen, Hong Kong.

Most local sessions in the Conference programme remain as planned but some may be rescheduled to different time slots. Participants are advised to refer to the Conference website http://tripartitecongress2019hk.com/542-2/ for the detailed programme updates.

Despite the changes, we would still strive to make the Conference a valuable opportunity for medical practitioners, nurses and allied health professionals to share their knowledge and skills, and we do hope to have your continuing support to make The Conference a success.

Please do mark your diaries.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Welcome message

The "4th AMM-AMS-HKAM Tripartite Congress cum 53rd Singapore – Malaysia Congress of Medicine & Hong Kong Primary Care Conference 2019" would be co-organised by the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AMM), Academy of Medicine, Singapore (AMS), Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (HKAM) and Hong Kong College of Family Physicians (HKCFP), from 6 – 8 December 2019 (Friday – Sunday) at HKAM Jockey Club Building, Aberdeen, Hong Kong. The theme this year is “People-centred Care: Towards Value-Based Innovations”.

The three Academies have much in common in many areas. We have very similar changing demographic trends and disease patterns. We share the same principles in medical postgraduate training. Most important of all, we have the same colossal demand in primary healthcare. This conference will be an opportunity for medical practitioners to share their knowledge and experience with friends and colleagues locally or from South East Asia and to make contacts that may lead to future collaborations.

Please mark the date in your calendar. We look forward to seeing you in this exciting and momentous event in the coming December.
